How to setup a complete Cloud Telecoms PBX System.

The following guide will assist you to setup your own PBX system like a pro, including a welcome message (ivr), time conditions, ring groups and recordings.

  1. Login to your Cloud Telecoms portal
  2. Navigate to PBX - PBX Domains
  3. Then PBX - Administration - PBX Old System

Creating Time Conditions

Login to your Cloud Telecoms portal

Navigate to PBX - PBX Domains

Then PBX - Administration - PBX Old System

Business - Time Conditions

Click on the bottom plus on the right hand side

Name: Your preferred name ( preferably name of business)

Extension: if not auto generated, any 4 digits.

Settings: Time of Day and Day of week and enter the times that suit you/your business

Select the recording you would like to hear.

Select your domain

Set enabled to true

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click save


Navigate to PBX Domains

Select the record - Phone Numbers - edit your phone number - click on the number routing dropdown and select the name of the time condition.

Save.

Dial your number and test.

How to create a welcome message and IVR

Go to https://voicemaker.in/ to create your audio file.

Download your audio file in .mp3 format.


Login to your Cloud Telecoms portal

Navigate to PBX - PBX Domains

Then PBX - Administration - PBX Old System

Business - Audio Files

Choose file on the top right, select audio file and upload.


Go to Business - Digital Receptionist (ivr)

click on the bottom plus on the right hand side

Name: Your preferred name ( preferably name of business)

Extension: if not auto generated, any 4 digits.

Greet Long: select the name of the audio file

Exit Action: select the extension or ring group that needs to ring.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click save


Navigate to PBX Domains

Select the record - Phone Numbers - edit your phone number - click on the number routing dropdown and select the name of the ivr.

Dial your number and test.

Creating Ring Groups

Login to your Cloud Telecoms portal

Navigate to PBX - PBX Domains

Then PBX - Administration - PBX Old System

Business - Ring Groups

click on the bottom plus on the right hand side

Name: Your preferred name ( preferably name of business)

Extension: if not auto generated, any 4 digits.

Destinations: select the extensions that you want to ring

Exit Action: select the extension or ring group that needs to ring and how long it should ring for.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click save


Navigate to PBX Domains

Select the record - Phone Numbers - edit your phone number - click on the number routing dropdown and select the name of the ring group.

Dial your number and test.

Record your extensions

Login to your Cloud Telecoms portal

Navigate to PBX - Extensions

Select your extension to record - edit - call recording: select your choice

You will be billed R50 /extension
